STUDIO W is currently undergoing some construction. We have our contractor, Jon, coming in every day to upgrade our facilities in Studio W to create a better experience for our clients and our students. We’ve sealed off old garage doors. We are framing a new double door load-in entrance and adding double insulation to create a better acoustic space for our clients. We’re also framing an angle along the ceiling to help create a more suitable acoustic experience for whatever your needs may be.

Studio W is a multi-functional studio created specifically for:

  • Video Production (bands and artists, educational, and corporate videos)
  • Audio Production (streaming, podcasts, album recording)
  • Intimate Shows and House Concerts
  • CD Release Parties
  • Band Rehearsals
  • Photography

You may or may not be aware, but over the past few months we have been filming for the Arise Online Music Festival in Studio W. Our dedicated videographer Justin Hardman and our lighting team Cody, Sean, and Teva of Photon7 work masterfully to create a unique look for each and every artist that comes through our doors.

Soon, our own Jess Lambert (AKA Feroxx) is releasing a professional music video with lighting and video created by the Colorado Sound Studios team and Photon7 filmed entirely within Studio W. Complete with lasers and professional production administered by some of the top professionals Colorado has to offer, the video showcases what we are capable of bringing to life in that space.

As a student, having the opportunity to help build a studio is an event unlike anything else. It’s a front-row seat to treating a professional acoustic environment, a task every up-and-coming audio engineer should experience, and one I will never take for granted.
