Don Bearie is an engineer and producer from Grand Rapids, Michigan. While growing up, he frequently attended techno raves in both Chicago and Detroit. Finding himself deeply embedded in electronic music, he began to explore modular synthesis and DAW’s like Ableton and Pro Tools.

After High School, Don attended college at Ferris State University where he studied Music Industry Management. He furthered his studies by taking classes through Dubspot and graduating from Recording Connection’s audio engineering program. While at Colorado Sound Studios, Don has worked to record acts like The Lumineers, Lettuce, Halsey, Glass Animals, Portugal The Man and Gregory Alan Isakov. Don’s experience, passion and knowledge for producing electronic music makes him one of Denver’s best instructors on the topic.
