With the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater in our backyard, we thought it was necessary to build a mobile recording rig that would give us the ability to capture a live performance with the same professional quality as the studio. With this in mind, we were able to create the Colorado Sound Studios’ Remote Truck. Complete with a Studer Vista 5 console, a Pro Tools HD system, and a plethora of microphones and outboard gear options, this is one of the most well equipped mobile studios in the country.

With our mobile truck, we have recorded shows for Dave Matthews, Mumford and Sons, The John Butler Trio, John Fogerty and countless others. Though we love Red Rocks, we don’t just stop there. Our mobile truck has recorded shows in venues all over the country, like The Gorge in George, WA and The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA. This is the best way for select students to get their hands dirty in the live sound industry.
