Our Studio A control room is now the proud home of Colorado’s only 32-channel Neve 5088. Brand new to Colorado Sound Studios, this unprecedented recording console is the culmination of the legendary Rupert Neve’s vast circuitry knowledge and delivers some of the best sounds you’ve ever heard straight to tape. If you’re looking for a color different than that of the Neve’s, we also have a plethora of Grace Design and API preamps as well so your bases are covered. This in conjunction with our extensive outboard gear collection, including Neve 1073s, Urei 1176s, a Lexicon 480L, a Manley VoxBox and more, you will not find a better control room in the state to learn and hone in your engineering skills. All of this runs to a Mac Pro that utilizes Pro Tools HD, Logic Pro and Ableton Live, with an endless collection of the best, new plugins.

Studio A possesses two live-rooms, The Wood Room and The Tile Room, which gives us the ability to chase down whatever room-tone our artists have in mind. We have all of the microphones, instruments and gear you need to let your creativity run wild, including but not limited to a vintage Neumann U48, a Yamaha C7 Grand Piano, the original Mini Moog, a ’57 Les Paul Gold Top RI, an EMT 140 Plate Reverb, and so much more.
